Merthyr-based IT Company Achieves Industry Recognition 

CompTIA Accredit UK Trustmark+ enables Certitec to create sustainable business in town
Swansea, UK; 9th September 2014: Certitec, an Adobe Authorised Training Centre based in Merthyr Tydfil, today announced that is has achieved the coveted IT Business Trustmark and CompTIA Accredit UK Trustmark+ accreditations through Software Alliance Wales. The globally recognised IT company accreditation programme is enabling the company to create a growing and sustainable IT business in Wales.
CertitecThe CompTIA Trustmark accreditation programme was fully funded through Software Alliance Wales, a project supported by the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government. The Trustmark accreditation programme is available to IT businesses within the Welsh convergence area that can demonstrate sound business best practices while providing quality IT services.
The company was founded in 2001, and has offices in Cardiff, Bristol and London but maintains its head office in Merthyr Tydfil where it employs staff locally. Its wealth of accredited trainers deliver services across the UK to companies such as ASOS, BBC, Cath Kidston, Disney, Microsoft and Shop Direct. The accreditation, which looks closely at all aspects of business operations, was achieved earlier this year and has already enabled the company to make huge enhancements to its business, including the streamlining of its business processes in this short time. 
Adobe expert and Certitec Managing Director Jon Bessant explained, “Throughout the process of earning the CompTIA IT Business Trustmark and Accredit UK Trustmark+ accreditations we were given a 360 degree look at our business which was the catalyst for improvement.
